About us
What is FUNDEF?
FUNDEF helps the people of Timor-Leste move towards a more harmonious future by working on building peace and people’s capacity.

Young people and their communities in Timor-Leste are building a stronger future, with the assistance of FUNDEF, by resolving conflict without violence, promoting gender equity, preventing gender based and domestic violence, and recognising women and children’s rights.
Other underlying issues for peace in the communities are also being addressed by FUNDEF’s work. Teaching basic work skills, protecting the environment, and building basic infrastructure are an important part of what we do.

This ongoing work is done in close cooperation with the local communities, local and international NGOs.
